The Ingredients You Will Need
These are all dried spices and can be stored for up to several months. Here’s what you’ll need to have on hand:
- Dark brown sugar
- Granulated sugar
- Sweet paprika (or just regular paprika)
- Garlic powder
- Black pepper
- Ground ginger
- Onion powder
- Dried rosemary
When To Use Pork Rub
This rub is good anytime you are preparing pork. You can use them on any of the following recipes:
- Grilled pork chops
- Slow cooker pulled pork
- Pan-Seared Pork Chops with Rice
- Bratwurst sliders
- Baby back ribs

Best Pork Rub
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup dark brown sugar
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ¼ cup paprika
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp rosemary dried
Instructions
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a medium bowl. Break up any clumps of sugar with your fingers or a fork.
- Store in a jar with a lid for up to 3 to 4 months.
