This Best-Ever Skillet Breakfast packs a ton of morning deliciousness in one easy skillet! It is so simple to put together and will really wow your family and/or guests as they wake up. Actually, it's so good, it's great any time of the day, or night! So good!
In a sturdy skillet (preferably cast iron), cook the sausage, onion, and garlic over medium heat until sausage is browned and the onion is soft, about 10 minutes.
Add crumbled biscuits, cheese, tomatoes, sage, maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
Make 6 indentions (using the handle of a long spoon works well) in the sausage mixture, and break an egg into each indention.
Bake until eggs have just set, approx. 20 minutes (22 to 24 minutes for fully-cooked egg yolks).
