This Hurricane Cocktail is the classic libation born at the legendary Pat O'Brien's restaurant and bar in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Refreshing and delicious. Make this drink and be transported down to the Big Easy!
Add all the ingredients to your shaker filled with ice.
Shake and then strain into a large glass (preferably a hurricane glass) filled with ice.
Garnish with half of an orange wheel and a maraschino cherry.

This recipe can be made in bulk and kept in a pitcher to serve a group. It can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Keep in a pitcher (covered) in the fridge until ready to use.
