When I was a child, I have such distinct memories of my grandma making Oyster Casserole every Christmas.  As a young kid from Texas, I wasn’t too sure about it, so, I usually passed on the dish.  But I saw how so many of the others gathered around the table loved it and gobbled it up.

Finally, as I grew a little older, I started eating the Oyster Casserole, and understood what all the fuss was about.  This is my version of an Oyster Casserole recipe, and we really love it.  We think you will, too!

Well, how about a nice, warm, soothing drink to enjoy while this celebrating this holiday season?

Hands down, our favorite adult beverage during the Christmas season is Gluhwein (Spiced Wine).  We first discovered this lovely drink at Christmas Markets scattered across Hamburg, Germany, which is where we lived and worked during the mid-90s.

So delicious and perfect for the holidays.  Make a large batch and keep warm in your slow cooker with the setting on low.  We just love this Gleuwein recipe!
