HOW TO MAKE SLOW-ROASTED TOMATOES
This is truly one of the easiest recipes you will ever make. All you need is a baking sheet, an oven, and of course, tomatoes.
Of course, we’re going to suggest using farm-fresh tomatoes when they are at their peak, but even hot-house tomatoes from the supermarket will slow-roast beautifully.
EXPERT TIP: Roma tomatoes are excellent for slow-roasting. But, you could really slow-roast any type of tomato. Have fun and vary them up!
SLOW AND LOW IS THE WAY TO GO
These slow-roasted tomatoes are so simple yet so completely deep in flavors.
Slow roasting them in the oven at a low temperature for 3.5 hours brings out the most amazing taste.
Just amazing…but keep an eye on them, if they start to completely dry out, or even burn, remove them from the oven.
Now, it’ time to bake them to perfection.
These are also amazingly good on a pizza.
But, honestly, they are so good by themselves, you’ll want to serve them as their own dish. They are addictively delicious.
