Hard Eight BBQ

You absolutey cannot find a better Texas BBQ joint than Hard Eight BBQ.   There are lots of amazing BBQ places in the D/FW area…trust us, we’ve tried many of them.   But there is something really amazing about Hard Eight.  First, and foremost, the BBQ is incredible.  As you walk up, you see and smell the wood burning smokers.  They start slow cooking the meat the day before, and then let it slow cook all night.  By the next day, when you arrive…you’ll find a huge assortment of beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, corn on the cob, and baked potatoes…all waiting for you to pick for the best BBQ experience you’ll ever have.  Beer, live music, pickles, fresh potato salad, and complimentary slow-cooked beans await you, as well.

There are 3 locations in the D/FW area, we love the Coppell location because it’s conveniently located about 10 minutes from the D/FW airport.   Try Hard Eights, y’all!  You will NOT be disappointed!

  • Hi there!
I met Wesley today in Highland Village and right after he gave me the name of this blog I had to go check it out because my fiancé wants to open a food truck someday and we love following other foodies. Then I saw you visited Hard Eight where my fiancé is a manager!! He currently works at the Roanoke location but what a small world! Can’t wait to dive into this page and try some recipes!!

    • Hi Rachel!!! What a small world indeed! I believe the Hard Eight we dined at was in Roanoke!! That has become one of our all-time fav BBQ places to eat in D/FW…well, the world! We’ll see you again (you need to meet Kris), and check out our recipes and videos…plus lots more on the way!! xoxo Wesley (and Kris)
